There seems to be a common misconception among many that if you have an aftermarket/extended warranty, that your car, truck, SUV or Jeep must be taken to a dealership. This is not true. Non-dealership / Independent Automotive repair shops can service and repair your new or UNDER WARRANTY/EXTENDED WARRANTY. As a positive, at our shop you can get fast service and work with highly trained technicians!  We'd love to take care of your vehicle for you and can do so right here at our automotive shop. Repairs by highly rated and trained automotive technicians with dealer rated diagnostic tools, at BETTER PRICING by a shop that knows you!

It is a law that independent automotive repairs shops can maintain and service your warranty. All consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, that is enforced by Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the new vehicles warranty or a vehicles extended warranty because service was performed by a Non-Dealer/Independent Repair shop.

Per the FTC, “It's illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had warranty work or routine maintenance or repairs performed by our automotive shop. Routine maintenance can include anything from oil changes, tire rotations and belt replacement, to fluid checks, flushes, new brake pads and inspections.” It is also important to note that the “Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for a company to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty for the simple cause that you used an aftermarket or recycled part.”

One of the major perks to bringing your vehicle to an independent repair shop is the ability to make your money go further. Many times, warranties will have a limit or a deductible. Our goal is to make your warranty work for you.

Lastly, If you are on the fence about whether or not to purchase an AFTERMARKET or EXTENDED warranty. We suggest opening a savings account for your car and putting back money for possible breakdowns. While warranties are great the limitations can sometimes outweigh the benefits.

Whichever option you may choose we will be there for you every step of the way! We look forward to taking care of your new or under extended/aftermarket warranty, car, truck, SUV or Jeep right here. Give us a call today!

Did you know that Remanufacturing is Recycling?  Have you considered how your decision to make a major repair to your vehicle affects our environment? We have researched how much energy JASPER utilizes in the remanufacturing process and compared it with information from the Argonne National Lab, a research center for the U.S. Department of Energy.

By averaging the curb weight of three vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz W126, a Hummer H2, and a Toyota Prius, a determination was made on the average amount of energy required in manufacturing vehicles. Energy usage at JASPER, per drivetrain component, was figured and, on average, only 1% of the energy is consumed in remanufacturing a drivetrain component in comparison to manufacturing the entire vehicle.  That is an energy savings of nearly six tons of coal or 1008 gallons of crude oil. Rather than replacing their vehicles, our customers, by purchasing JASPER remanufactured engines, transmissions, and differentials saved enough energy in 2007 to power an estimated 598,000 households, or every residence in a city the size of Washington, D.C., for an entire year!

Thanks for your review. We really try to be honest when it comes to auto repair. The down home feel comes from being family owned for 42 years . Thanks again for the great comments. If you have any auto concerns don't hesitate to call. Rick

I brought my daughters older car into another shop, and had an estimate and it was more than the car was worth. So I decided to try Dale and Ron's shop as she attends KU and it was so close.  The other place was recommending over $1,000 more work than Dale & Ron.  The other place wanted to replace a part that wasn't even necessary.  The people at Dale & Ron's Auto are  honest and helpful. I love the down home feel and non corporate selling. It's truly the best experience I have ever had at an auto shop. They go above and beyond service.  Barbara Z. rateabiz.com

I have trusted Dale and Ron's to work on my cars for several years. They are honest and very knowledgeable. I can count on Dale and Ron's to keep my cars maintained and fix mechanical problems when they arise. J.K. rateabiz.com

I was having noises that appeared to be steering related in my older Toyota truck. It was diagnosed as a power steering rack leak. The part was replaced but continued to make noise. Rick suggested that air bubbles and an additive would over time, resolve the noise. After one week the additional power steering fluid was added and the noise diminished significantly. They offered to clean the screen in the PS resirvoir if the noise does not go away entirely. I was very satisfied with their diagnostic skills and their willingness to work with me toward a resolution of the steering issues. Ron A. rateabiz.com

They always complete the work on time. Its always fixed right the first time. It never costs me more than they estimated. I can trust this business is only doing necessary repairs. Millie, W.  rateabiz.com
