I was having noises that appeared to be steering related in my older Toyota truck. It was diagnosed as a power steering rack leak. The part was replaced but continued to make noise. Rick suggested that air bubbles and an additive would over time, resolve the noise. After one week the additional power steering fluid was added and the noise diminished significantly. They offered to clean the screen in the PS resirvoir if the noise does not go away entirely.
